Tisas "service special" .45 acp. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. $339.00 + $35.00 transfer fee. Already have some nice checkered wood grips and an extra mag. on order. Looks like a well made, solid pistol. Read alot of good reviews beforehand. Time will tell. While I was there I put an Astra 600 on layaway. The shop had $525.00 on it. Got it for $400. Came with military holster, extra mag., and cleaning rod. Very good condition.
A 1943 beautiful Remington Rand 45acp for more than I care to mention.
Colt Sauer Drilling 3000- 12x12 over 30 06. Always wanted one an it popped up on GI and I landed it. Very good price and in pristine condition. Versatile and will take about any critter walking, flying or slithering the earth. Popular calibers about anywhere.Attachment 324920Attachment 324921Attachment 324922Attachment 324923Attachment 324924

I had to get this old Colt .38 Special; I couldn’t leave it there at the LGS.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f8b2534988.jpg

Interesting gun. The tang has a slider. Forward "Schott" accesses the 12g. Slider back access the "Koogle" means bullet (I think). When you do this it pops up the rear sight and you know you are in "rifle mode."
1914 M94/14 Swedish Mauser in 6.5X55, first gun I ever deer hunted with, my Grandfather let me use it back in the early seventies. Been looking for one since and this one was expensive but in fantastic condition.
Well it’s getting close to a year since I bought one. I guess I’d better start looking.
Sig P320 AXG Compact in 9mm. Sig custom shop FCU. Only thing plastic is the mag base and the box it came in. Oh, and the striker spring keepers. The rest is METAL. Really good shooting gun. Even with lead projectiles.
Spring Field Echelon. Got a couple thousand rounds through it bye now. Only issue is my fault. The only load that is really accurate with my MP 356-358-NLG boolits is too soft to cycle properly but with an aftermarket 14lb spring they are shooting really good‼️‼️. I got to add though that when I push them way fast they start hitting really good again (1100’/s at 133 gr.) But they are too hot for me to want them for plinking.
Saturday I picked up a Ruger Redhawk with a 7 1/2 " barrel from my LGS Ol' Time Gun Shop in Hudson, Florida. 44 magnum and it is a beast and I love it.Attachment 325813
A .38/.357 birdshead, SS, 3 1/2in. barrel, single action. I was looking for a .32 but couldn’t pass on the price of this one . Glad I didn’t it’s a shooter !
As that old poem I was forced to read somewhere in school stated:
"In the Spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of a NEW RIFLE."
Well, that's the way I remember it anyway. :) With me the annual purchase has often been a new Varmint rifle, so I decided to try one of the new Remington 700 ADL Varmint rifles in 22-250. It has all the performance features with none of the cost frills. Heavy 26" barrel, slow 1 in 14" twist (which I prefer) and a flat-bottomed vented stock forend. Total cost to my door $573. This was my last purchase before allowing my FFL to expire. Have yet to scope it so no idea how it shoots.
I had a 22-250 already but it is an old beat-up Remington 788 sporter barrel gun that was shot out when I bought it in 1979. I never found a load that would group within an inch from that gun. Having all the brass, dies and so many boxes of 22 centerfire bullets, I was losing money NOT having a good 22-250 in my stable.
