Something Else to PC
I have Tumble Pcd many of my key heads to make them easier to identify. After tumbling pickup with pliers and dust the powder off the key shaft then cook like boolitz.
This started with color coding my gun locks to the matching keys and I went a bit further once I realized how helpful it was.

Great idea. Thanks for sharing it.

You might want to try the high temp tape and just put it on first to keep the powder off what you don't want coated. The tape, silicon caps & plugs also work well if you preheat before spraying, which is typically what I do when PC other things.

I did some red accent nuts on my Ford 8n tractor
should have coated on a bolt cause they were a tight fit

I PC my aluminum frame Sig 938 because the analogizing was gone and it was getting corroded on the left side, especially under grips, locks, etc. . It's a full time carry. Keeping the coating off threads and close tolerance surfaces is well advised.
