Webley 455 with flare attatchment
I recently acquired a Webley MkV(I think) with what honestly resembles a 3/8 impact socket threaded(apparently) onto the end of the barrel. I will attach pics if I am able to. A British military collector told me that Webley built a detachable flare adaptor for these pistols. But the troops kept losing them. It was his opinion that my pistol was the solution arrived at by the Brits. Perhaps someone here knows a bit about these guns. Other than the bbl modification, it is a nice piece. Uncut cylinder, all matching numbers, nice grips, & the lanyard is still there. I am thinking the herd to finance my new Pedersoli 20 gauge double bbl flintlock. So if interested, speak up. Love to have more info on this bad boy.
