Are there any home made lube recipes that will come close to the performance of LBT Blue, at 2000fps and above?
I use 1:4 ATF and beeswax at 2200 fps in my Garand, no issues.
1:5 STP and beeswax works too, but the ATF is much easier to mix.
I started with Bens Red it works great and i launch my bullets at about 2050 fps. Is not the best choice for hot climates. Can through flyers above 90*F. I started playing with SL-68B and it working good in my hot climate and i want to try SL-71. Two coats of 45/45/10 was woking good at 1800FPS surprisingly.

I use Ben's Red and also BLL at 24 to 2600 fps. with no problems and great accuracy.
I've never experienced any flyers due to heat with either lube as mentioned in the above post and have been using it for years now.
I shoot at a range that has no cover over the bench. No problems in cold weather either.
Two I have tried that might hold up are:
4:1 beeswax and two cycle oil
50/50 beeswax and Stalube Molygraph grease. This is the Glen Fryxell formula.
Ben's Red.
Have taken 30-30 to 2300 fps 0.002 bullets, and 45-70 to 2150fps 0.0015 oversize. No leading at all.
Recently I’ve been tuning my 30 cal at 2,200fps with felix and bens red here in Florida/Georgia. Bens red gave me better accuracy with no fliers as well in this 95 degree weather.
Just use the Ben's Red or the first one suggested, the first one sounds pretty simple beeswax is tried and true with all kinds of additives and it just works.
I don't believe you will get the performance out of the Vegetable based waxes as you will with Beeswax base. Same goes for Paraffin or petrol based waxes as compared to beeswax..There are some combinations that will work though, less the long explanation.
For home made search "mike's micro lithi", "MML+soap", or "satans lube". On the other other hand, the White Label lubes are no muss no fuss,,,,,
