Lots of choices that work.
IMR4895, 4064, RL15, Varget, work in the range of 35-40 grains with 1 grain of loose Dacron filler and any 160-200 grain bullet that "fits". #311299 is a favorite, but I like the lighter bullets. My mold is an HM2, no longer manufactured, but both NOE and Accurate have clones of the Ed Harris design. My M1 is not match conditioned, but a rack grade CMP gun with new Criterion barrel. Needed 40 grains to function when gun was new and stiff, now that it has been run in a bit and slicked up it functions with 36 grs.

I need to try and run some cast through my M1. I run cast through mini 30 and SKS and all bolt guns that i have. Just never did it through the old M1. I have a ruger precision that has seen nothing but cast. People kind of look at me funny. Some just go **** cool.
My favorite is IMR4064, all the others that Outpost75 mentioned are good also. Another one that works well is AA2520.
IMR 4895, 48 gr., 155 gr. FMJ HP bullet, usually Hornady.

4895 rl 15 the alliant because it is all ways in stock 4895 because that is what I was taught to use back in 65
GONRA suggests staying away from ANY fillers in bottle necked cartridges.....

Also, it is important to NEVER push the filler down against the powder, where it becomes a projectile, and the bullet base acts like a bore obstruction and rings the chamber.
The filler should be tucked LOOSELY into the case neck and be allowed to fluff up to take up some of the free airspace. The base of the bullet upon seating positions it. The amount of filler used should be aCOMPLETELY consumed upon firing. If you see "fluff" ejected from the muzzle you are using too much.
Use Dacron polyester batting only. No belly button or dryer lint, cat tail fluff or duck feathers!
The problem with the “not recommended” fillers listed above is their lack of springiness and propensity to be compressed with handling, which creates undesirable airspace even if airspace did not originally exist.
Used properly, fillers eliminate vexing problems attendant to partially filled cases, which is why we see them mentioned. Read on this forum where and how they are properly used. Blanket condemnation of their use indicates some misunderstanding of their reason for employment in the first place.
Larry Gibson is THE Guru on fillers vs. "puff balls". Search for his posts and you can take them to the bank.
I like IMR4895, works great. 48.0 gr. and a 147-150 gr. bullet. Sorry have never tried a cast in my M1. I got some AA2520 that I've meant to try sometime.
