Ordered a "starter" kit from these guys a few weeks ago - www.camodipkit.com
Figured I would try my hand a camo dipping some gun parts and deer skulls. Kit arrived and was easy to use. I was able to dip a deer skull and pistol with great results and still have materials left over for one more dip...
Need pics please. This sounds promising.

Looks like deer skull will last, I have doubts about your gun. Paint will wear pretty quick, and it is just Urethane paint.
