I have an old Omega Seamaster automatic watch from the late 1960's that needs the crown replaced.
The guy I've been using for years is getting out of the watch business and I need a HONEST watchmaker that can do the job properly.

Ask him for a reference.
Omega greatly reduced distribution of OEM parts a few years ago to fight counterfeiting, making it hard to find a guy that can get parts.
I believe that I last used Nesbit’s in Seattle to service my sea master.
I use Claudio’s in Waxhaw NC for Rolex, he didn’t have Omega OEM parts when I needed the work.
Will this help, P & P? https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/c...es/restoration
Thanks.
I don't need a restoration, just a new crown.
Anyone familiar with Sands Point Shop in Port Jefferson, NY (Long Island) ?
My son's housemate is an experienced watch maker. PM me the info and I will check with him. His shop is highly rated in AZ.
Banger
PM sent
I called these places because I have 2 watches that need fixed.
At Sands Point you need to send it there for an estimate and Espirages basically changes batteries.
Banger Jim can I have you do the same for me?
You might have a look at TimeZone.com. It's quite active.
I hear good things about these guys: https://www.govbergwatchrepair.com
THANKS TO ALL !
Found what I needed.
