Winchester M67A restoration

I am doing a restoration of grandfathers old single shot 22, so far I have torn it all down and stripped the poly off the stock and started doing a hand rubbed oil finish. I am planning on attempting rust bluing process for the first time and need some tips from individuals who have done it before. I have ordered laurel mountain rust bluing solution from brownells. I am curious about what I do in-between each operation, for example when I get home from work I wipe it down with the rust bluing solution. After it rusts up and I boil or steam it how do I store it untill the next afternoon? Any other tips or suggestions? This won't be the first restoration I have done but is the first attempt at rust bluing however I have parkerized a few guns.
