Here is a cost break down of both what I deem necessary and what additional upgrades I have to offer to make .458 bullets from various jacket materials using my BTSniper premium dies.

All my pistol and large bore caliber dies start off with the same three basic dies, a point form die, core seat die and core swage die. These three dies when paired with available commercial jackets will make perfect JHP bullets of any weight the user wishes.

*Core swage/bleed die may not me necessary if one is happy to use commercial boolits cast from commonly available molds. Slight fluctuations in final bullet weight may be a result from cores or various weight pieces of brass but accuracy differences will most likely not be noticed. When making .458 cal bullets 44 cal cast boolits work well for cores.

*looking closely it is a shell holder ram top pictured, the threaded ram top that uses my 1/2-20tpi base punches is shown in pic below. Shows that both my threaded base punches and shell holder style base punches can be used if necessary, threaded is standard, shell holder style is more expensive option.
Swage Press with Auto Eject
I offer an improved version of the Lee Classic Cast press that I have modified specifically to handle the pressures of swaging. This press has modified linkages that produce over twice the leverage of the stock press and comes with a new threaded ram and auto eject set up. For making these big .458s this press will have a much needed leverage advantage over traditional reloading presses.
