$270 , in excellent shape. Stocks are pressed and ugly but I'll do Boyd's walnut if it shoots. Looking forward to casting some rifle boolits!

$270 is a 2009 price. Well done! They do shoot. Is it the nose cap, 3/4 length magazine? If so, worth tarting up, it's a good looking rifle.

Bluing 99%, not a buggered screw on her.
Sweet....that's a great deal.

if its a shooter you got a steal my friend
Lucky dawg.
That's exactly the kind of deal I'm looking for. Unless I can get one even cheaper......I know- dream on!
Color me jealous! Congratulations on a great deal.
Nothing wrong with that rifle. It will outlive you!

Nice addition to the family. Congrats.
Numrich probably has the 336A walnut forend. It should work I think. But the embossed wood is retro in itself. The sights look nice too.

Yeah, the retro wood is growing on me. It really is a nice shooter. And the action is smooth as silk. Some firearms I just don't bond with. Not a problem with this one.
Honestly, I think alot of Glenfields are actually nicer guns than 336's. My cheapo Glenfield 30 will keep up with alot of bolt actions.
Did it come with that receiver sight? That by itself is a $50 plus. You got a great deal on that rifle. I have a real soft spot for old Marlins.
I have a glenfeild golden 50 .22 LR with the same wood on it, it has not even started to look better to me yet but shoots good, that one would have looked just right next to it. Nice find
I just sold a 30a JM, NIB for $375. Don't know the year but was pre safety. I was surprised how
fast it sold. I took it and a 94 Win on same trade and Im still stuck with it.
What kind of a 94 do you have?
