Sorry for your lost. May he be at rest now. I know how it is .I lost my parents years ago .
Prayers and condolences. As a caregiver for both my parents in their late 80’s I can feel your loss.
My dad also was a WWII (Army) vet -- at age 96 he, too, recently passed. He underwent cataract removal surgery, and took a nap next morn, from which he never woke up. Mom -- his wife of 76 years -- passed a couple of years earlier, and from the day of her passing he so wished to again be with her.
I am ever so sorry for your loss -- wished to share "you're not alone" -- and, that you and your wife are, indeed, in our prayers.

I lost my WW II vet Dad too. Still miss him but time will fill your heart with others. Cherish the memories. You will never regret the care you gave him.
May your dad rest well...
With deepest sympathy and condolences from my family to yours. We will keep your family in our prayers and pray you find peace and understanding during such a difficult time.

My Dad passed 6 years ago on Aug. 17th. Will never forget the day my best friend left. Will pray for your family and I hope you have many fond memories.
Mine too, 93 yo ww2 vet, couple years ago. I feel your pain and sorry for your loss.
Praying for you and your family, may Lord walk you all through the grief process.
Prayers that the memories of your father's illness fade and the memories of him being vibrant and healthy fill in quickly. I am truly sorry for the emptiness you are feeling right now.
I have also been a caregiver for an elderly man, and I know how wrenching it is to lose someone. God will bring you peace, and restore your joy. The time that you had together has been a great gift. You are in my prayers.

First I am sorry for your loss......a father is special and to take care of him for 3 years makes the bond only that more strong....
Father, please be with Tom and Lori as they deal with the loss of Tom's father. Allow them to dwell on the good times they shared and this will allow their memories to become even more important. AMEN
Prayers and thoughts sent. Lost mine 34 years ago, also a WW2 vet. I truly thank all vets still here and those who passed.

I am very sorry for your loss i also lost my daddy a few years ago you all are in my prayers & i thank him for his service to our great country
I'm sorry for your loss. Be grateful that you were able to spend so much time with him before he passed. Some of us would do anything to be able to turn the clock back even for several hours just to be able to have one last conversation and memory.
Remembering my feelings when my dad passed. His troubles were over. I miss him every day.
My sincere condolences to you and the family.
May you and your family find comfort in the warm comfort of God's Grace.
