I have 327 firearms so I load for 170 different calibers
22,25,26,27,28,30,31,32,35,40,45,410ga ,20ga,16ga,12 ga . 10 I have tools for but I haven't yet . Calibers . Cartridges aaaaa no that's depressing even to me . I have 5 sizing dies to that fill gaps between calibers for paper patched and cal swapping bullets . Just 1 magnum rifle and a pistol . I forget about the 3" 12 ga being a mag so there's 4 mags .
I cast & reload 11
I have reduced my rifles down to 38, so I still load 22hornet, 222, 223, 243, 25/20, 257, 6.5x55
270, 30/30, 300sav, 308, 30/06, 30/40Krag, 32/20, 32/40, 35Rem, 375W &45/70. In hand guns
32S&W, 32H&R, 9mm Luger, 38S&W, 38sp, 357, 38/40, 44sp, 44mg, 44/40, 45Colt, 45acp, 455E.
Left out .30Carbine, 7x57mm & 12guage, 410 shotgun. I have dies for about anything you can
think of. Have never owned dies for a cartridge I didn't have gun for. I learned a long time ago not
to sell dies because you will end up having to buy them again when you end up with another gun
for that cartridge. The cartridges that I hate to load are 9mm and 22Hornet. Just remembered I
load 45 auto rim too.

I'm pretty mainstream. Some of you load for and shoot a bunch of interesting cartridges!

I made a conscious effort to cut down a while back. Still holding at 27 after that.
Currently 6, down from 8 or 9 a few years ago.
I voted 15+, was looking to vote for "too many" l am looking to streamline as well, but WHERE TO START! I like old and different guns, load for them if your gonna be able to shoot them much. Cutting back on cartridges to load for is like dieting, probably get it done when I take my dirtnap.
But the question was how many CALIBERS , not how many cartridges .
In that case it's still 10 , not counting 6 shot shells.
Double post, oops

I think number of calibers reloaded would parallel the previous Age of Casters poll. It usually takes awhile to acquire all this stuff. I'm getting older just waiting on group buys.
I think thats a good assumption to make, although I did not think about it until you posted. Thirty die sets at $25-$30 each plus components is quite an investment.
My current list:
223/5.56
6.5 Grendel
6.5 Carcano
260 Remington
308 Win
30-06 Springfield
300 Win Mag
358 Win

I think that is it. I do have plans to add 7mm-08 and 338 federal to this list at some point, owing mostly to the huge stash of 308 brass I have. Figure I should have a rifle in all the straight forward resize children of the 308 :-)
I reload and use personally 6,35, 7,65 Br, 7,65 Para, 9 corto, 9x19, 9x21, .38 special, .44 magnum, .45 ACP, .222, .223, 6,5x47, 6,5 Carcano, 7,35 Carcano, .308, 7,62x39, 7,62x54, 7,5x55, .300WM, 45-70, 12 and .410 GA...and some other that I not remember...all with cast bullets...
The question of the OP reminds me of the exchange from Terminator 2:
John Connor: "The police (cartridges) are here"
Sarah Connor: "How many (do you load for)?
John Connor: "All of them, I think"
