you might want to let us know what your intensions are. what gun you loading. for hunting or not. I just recently acquired a S&W 25 and have already stuck three in the barrel trying not to disassemble it unintentionally with Universal and a 280g jacketed bullet, that's what I got rite now. 300g is the largest I've found so far for load data. Speer manual. still searching the net.
I have a 3 screw Ruger Blackhawk...I was thinking a hunting load in the “reasonable” range, say 1000 FPS or so?
I used that boolit over 22.0gr W296 it's a wrist snapper but penetrated 40" of seasoned oak firewood.

Unless you are planning on Griz or large Brown, there's nothing on the North American continent that needs that much boolit. It really is overkill no pun intended.
Yeah I figured it was really overkill, but probably a good idea as a sidearm next time I hunt elk in bear country.
I have been doing a lot of research and keep finding a common theme of H110 (W296)...ranging from 19-24 gr
Heh I would NOT go above 22.5gr!
Yes, I think that 19-20 grs will be enough for me....now I need to cast some up!
It casts a pretty decent looking heavyweight...

They weigh right around 340grs and drop about .454”
Yes, It had really crummy photos.
Probably overpaid...but oh well
I almost bought it but the condition looked bad from the pictures. I'm glad it worked out for you! Nice article on the bullet.

Yes it was very grungy...but mostly was sprayed down with a sticky brown substance...almost seems like vegetable oil...good thing is the cavities are nice
I have your mold also but mine are .80 of a inch and weigh 345 grains. But I also have it's little brother the 325.451 but it's .85 of a inch and weighing 355 grains in my alloy.
