Who wants a NEW AR-15 CARBINE upper receiver for $225 shipped?

When I found out about these things the price was sitting at $199

This is for a CARBINE length optics ready (flat top) AR-15 COMPLETE UPPER RECEIVER chambered in 5.56 (I think) WITH a Bolt Carrier Group as well.

Today I bought two of them, but the price jumped up to $215

STILL a VERY good price.

Turns out that Midway will run CLEARANCE sales that are not advertised and they do it when they need to get rid of some stock to make room for other stock. The sale could end whenever, if you want these, the best thing to do is buy now or just keep an eye on their ar-15 upper receiver section.

Thanks for the correction notice for 5.56- OOPS. I am so used to .223 and .556 is .223 doubled in my book (but it is not, it is just my brain and how weird it is).

Good price but YMMV on quality. I bought 2 during the $199 sale but needed to return 1 as the chamber was cut badly and it tore up the brass. A chip probably got under the reamer and it left a gouge in the chamber.

What pd me off was that all 3 of the cases from the QC test firing showed the same flaw, of course I did not check those cases before heading to the range.[smilie=b:[smilie=b: I trashed 100 cases because of this oversight.

Other than that a bargain and these are useful when having shooting guests over.

Pretty sure you meant .223 or 5.56mm

A .556 would be a 55 caliber weapon. In an AR carbine sized weapon - someone else shoot it!

I bought 1 of their storner uppers when they had the last $199 sale. It was a 1 in 9 with a f1 front sight. They had the parts kits on sale at the same time so I ordered 1 of those while I was at it. At the end of the day I ended up with a m4 rifle with a 300/600 rear sight & 1 mag for $340.

I've had no problems with that stoner upper, it runs my home made/swaged bullets like a sewing machine and gets the typical +/- 1 1/2" 10-shot groups @ 100yds. I have a psa 1 in 7 freedom kit also. I can tell no difference between the stoner vs psa accuracy wise. They both run flawlessly and are both setup with iron sights.

The stoner upper I received has been an excellent value & I'd recommend them to anyone.

The daily deals are pretty slick, last year I got the 10 pack of bcg's for 599. And picked up a melonite barrel complete upper for 249

Not knocking Palmetto ar all, most of my ar stuff has come from there. They just, currently, don't have a cheaper model

I try to stay away from the Midway sales, every time I check them I end up ordering something I didn't know I needed. LOL

That's a good deal. Now where's my $300 6.5 Grendel upper.......?

Delta Team Tactical and a few other websites have much the same deal, a week ago I picked up an AR-10 308 upper for around $250 --- you'll wait a few weeks at that price but DANG! Three years ago prices were out the roof for AR's and now they're (figuratively...) a dime a dozen.

Also picked up two 10.5" pistol uppers a while back for $250/each. I've got complete AR's (I'm a Stag dealer) that I bought Obammy era that I'm going to be stuck with the rest of my life or take a substantial loss when selling them....

Complete 6.5 Grendel minus BCG and lower right now, sooner or later 300 BLK will be around again and the quality is top notch...

I picked one up, swapped out the handguard, found out my chinamart flip up sights will not fit the rail.

But decent so far. I pulled the gas block back to assist in getting the guard on, haven't fired it since then, so hopefully it still works and I don't have to troubleshoot it.

You can find them cheaper. PSA always has some good numbers. I like thunderguns personally. Good prices great service and fast shipping.

I just bought two builder kits from 22mods4all. One 6.5 Grendel and one 5.56 for under $700. This includes everything but the lower. Just waiting for my crowfoot wrench to show up so I can torque the barrels down and I'm ready to go.
