Hairpins and cotter pins
Broke a cotter pin on my old 450 lubisizer, and lost a hairpin that holds the priming pin horizontal shaft on my Spar-t. Got nothing but the runaround from Lyman so in desparation went to a local Lowes. After scrounging about a bit I found replacements for BOTH. The replacement cotter pin is slightly larger but still fits the 450 and the hairpin has a (very) slightly different shape but both work great. Two packets of 3 each. My total $1.30

Yup. Lowes has some neat stuff in the bolt section.

Could just replace the pin on the 450 luber with a 1/4" bolt and a locking nut.Robert

Can tell you're not a farm boy. We just put a nail through the hole and bend it.
Yeah and Ace Hardware has a great selection of reloader friendly hardware too./beagle

The woman I talked to at Lyman kept referencing their new products and wanted me to measure the diameter of the priming arm pin. She also kept talking about an entirely different assembly that what I have with my old 450. You'd think she might at least have a schematic of the old products in order to carry on a coherent conversation with a caller even if the product has been discontinued. Beagle I thought about the nail but went with a cotter pin when I couldn't find a nail the right size.
