Very nice!
Would you please tell me how you've mounted that bipod and if you're happy with it.
Very nice. Make me want to get mine out.
Very nice brace of shooters! Reeder does top notch work for sure! Thanks for posting; as soon as I get back from my hog hunting trip I have to nail down a 357 max barrel for my contender! And I'd also like to know if you like that bipod?
I don't hunt so I can't speak to that aspect of the bi pod but I do like it. The forend has a stud built in so the bi pod just attached to that. I'll try and get some better pice this weekend for detail for you guys. I just bought a benchrest style rest for it and a new forend and will post those to for some ideas for you guys! The real downside to the bi pod is that when action is closed , if you're not holding the grip and raising the butt end, the muzzle points dangerously high. Care must be taken. Hope this helps and feel free to ask more questions or certain picture angles etc
This is not my gun... Looks awesome tho! Just wanted to try and show what I meant about muzzle angle. My range does not have a "no blue sky"cover and it's only 200+yards so if any careless handling would send a projectile well above our backstop.

Thanks, I haven't found a forend with a stud so am not sure if I can just thread one into the stock, guess I'll give it a try. And yes, I imagine that it'd be tough to find a short enough bipod to avoid the upward angle concern.
Inside it says g2 contender. Has a pachmayr logo on side. If pics aren't good I can get you a couple more.
