S&w mod 38
Talked my buddy out of another revolver and what a beautiful gun. Thanks for the help with my hand ejector and 58. Just looking for a year this was made. Don't think it's been fired but does have a little ring. My buddy didn't shoot it and it came from his uncle who had many guns and didn't shoot many. Probably should have taken these outside today but hope they're ok.Attachment 216197Attachment 216198Attachment 216199

I always liked the Bodyguard better than the Centennial because you can fire it single action. Yours looks great, enjoy it!

Order a Tyler T Grip and your ready for the range.

Great bodyguard! I carried one for years and still think it is a great carry piece. I later switched to a 642, which fit in my pocket better. For a 2" J frame, single action really isn't an advantage for me.

Carried a M38 in my inside coat pocked for years starting on 1972. I count it the best J frame made. Had an old upside down shoulder rig for dress wear. Finally shot it loose and traded it off. You have a real winner there and a good step above a 380 no matter how many rounds.

An airweight bodyguard is my daily carry. Nice pick up!

The single action comes in handy if you want to hit something smaller( like a rabbit or squirrel).
Hey, I hunt with every gun I own!

One of my best buddies in Narcotics carried one for years and still does (in his vigorous 70s).

I always viewed the Bodyguard as one of the two absolutely best "pocket pistols" ever made. The other option is the Centennial Both of these will fire and function and keep on firing without tying up inside a jacket pocket. There is no need to remove the firearm from the pocket if you are out of time when the action starts, just hit the trigger. Of course, it can be a bit rough on the jacket.
