Got a new mold from mountain molds and started casting last month, and started making some decent boolits eventually. Last night while casting the bullets started sticking in the mold what am I doing wrong??
The mold is too hot... Let is cool a bit. That is the simple answer, see if it works.
If it's an aluminum block mold the cooling is easy. Keep a wet towel in a pan and as the bullets begin to stick let the mold cool on the towel in the pan for a few seconds.

I learned from someone that used to work in a comercial casting plant that they use WD-40 as a mould release. It works, I spray it on when the mould is hot. It will cool it a little but it will warm back up soon and it dries instantly with no oily residue!
