Came in the mail today. Looks good but dang, it was a long time in the making. I bought it back in April and it came today. That's a long turn around for a simple die. They must be busy.

Why didn't ya go with NOE?
Two months for a custom tool? Seems OK to me...
Consider yourself lucky, when I ordered a Custom rifle collet neck size die and Rifle Collet FCD from Lee, for my 257Rx6.5 Jap, I waited 6 months.
btw, Lee seems to do lots better workmanship for custom orders, than that "off the shelf" stuff they sell. Maybe the long time, experienced machinists do those jobs?
Well if you are doing a custom job one assumes it gets individually measured. Production most shops measure a sample to spot things drifting or cutting tool wear. Much as one might weigh every 5th or 10th charge of powder. Doing a custom load you weigh every one. And I think you are right about who would do the custom jobs, experienced machinist can set up for each job faster and more accurately than a rookie. You decide it's time to crank out some custom orders you need someone that can change set up efficiently.
Can't go wrong w/ them [emoji2]

I checked NOE. even spoke with them on the phone. They are so backlogged that it would have taken months.
I'm surprised they didn't have what you needed. It must be something pretty unusual.
6 in stock right now, http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/product...oducts_id=2524
The NOE dies are excellent and all mine drop
exactly with what's stamped on the die .
