I do that with primers.
See some primers at the store, hmm I think I am low on large pistol primers. Buy a thousand.
Get home, nope, it’s small pistol you should have grabbed.

I'm impatiently waiting for the 5lb of Reloader 7 and 1lb of 2400 I ordered from Midway on Monday
UPS showed it as "out for delivery" all day Friday, now it says schedueled for Monday...
Reloader 16 for 6.72 x 49 CM 147's.
762
May have to change my name to 6.70.
My reloader7 and 2400 finally arrived today after calling UPS to complain
Went back to the same yard sale that I was at on 04-21 this time I found 3lbs. IMR4350 , 1lb. IMR3031 , 1lb. IMR4227 , 1000 CCI 200 large rifle primers, total spent was $60.00 Left name and phone # so if they have more that they want to get rid of call me.
H1000 8lbs....getting ready for some 300 PRC load development.
I didn't post it in this thread but I recently bought 8lbs of Shooters World Buffalo Rifle to test 5744 data against it as it says it's a direct replacement for it and at a cheaper price
26 pounds of Lovex D032, should last me for 4 or 5 years.
My last powder purchase was 8lbs of AA#4100 to feed my 460 and 500.
Just a pound of Zip, and a pound of Target to try when ever I get around to it.
20lbs of VV N340 from Hi-Tek Ammunition (https://hi-techammo.com). They seem to specialize in de-milled ammunition. N340 has a really wide spectrum of loading applications in handguns.
Forward thinking for the socialist wave.
Hi...
Bought a pound of Power Pistol for my son to use for reloading 10mm.
He has decided that he wants to shoot it a lot more, so reloading is the best way to afford that
I already had a die set just in case he ever wanted to reload for it. I also had bought a shell plate for one of my Hornady LnLs for 10mm sometime ago.
He bought a new Hornady powder measure for the LnL so he could have a dedicated measure for 10mm and ordered 500 plated bullets from Everglades a couple of days ago.
When they arrive, he will be ready to go on reloading 10mm.
He wanted to try Power Pistol first but also wants to use BE86 and probably a couple other powders as well.
2 pounds of varget and 2 pounds of H110.
I wandered into an old fashioned Mom and Pop gun shop last weekend and lo-and-behold there were two canisters of SR-4759 gathering dust on the shelf. I felt like the Prince of Knaves after buying them. And no, he claimed he had no more of it "out back".
I've been waiting for Midway to have Reloader22 in stock, but finally got to the point I NEED it too much to wait or pay extra to buy a case of 1# bottles, so I ordered it from Natchez.
I ordered a 5# Jug by phone, because I couldn't get the order to go through check-out yesterday.
As it turns out there was an error on my registered address (19071 was entered, but 18071 is correct), so
orders from Natchez should go smoothly in the future.
One thing I am very happy about, is that their default is to have the customer sign for the order, this is because they use FedEx-Ground, Midway uses UPS, and they charge extra to get a signature...
UPDATE: my order from Natchez is here. my only issue is that they "squished' the plastic bottle
to make it fit into the box they used...
8# jug of Varget, $200 at a local Big R store. And as an old phart I got 10% off...
I drove over to Midsouth yesterday and picked up 1# of Red Dot, a box of Magnus 32 Cal 98 gr wadcutters (need a mold) and a box of 25 Norma 6.5 Jap brass which was on sale for $14.99.No shipping or hazmat fees.
jonp, have you tested the Buffalo Rifle yet, and if you did what caliber did you shoot it in? I just bought 2lbs of it along with 2k primers and 1 lb of 2400 and 1lb of Acc #5 from Midsouth yesterday. I am going to try it in a 450 Bushmaster Ruger Ranch and in a 45/70 Marlin Cowboy.
Didn't buy any today, but was gifted a pound of REX-1 yesterday.
Shot up 4 boxes of 12 gauge on sporting clays that this stuff will work perfectly in to re-stuff them.
