I have a MAK90 that has always been indifferent to my loading efforts, and wanted something else in 7.62x39. Decided on a bolt gun and went with this CZ 527. Hopefully it will shoot the Golden Tiger the MAK doesn't like, and have a box of Berry 123g plated boolits to start with at the loading bench.

This has been a long stretch of no one buying guns.....[emoji849]

Yeah-- what a bummer. No eye candy. How's about if, just this once, we change it from "What is the last gun you bought" to "I bought this gun once upon a time"?

Is there a story? Of course. If I got it correctly, Colt and CZ decided to collaborate on a design using the famous Colt grip angle, and the then-very-popular .40 S&W cartridge.
The first couple of thousand were stamped "Colt", but they proved slow sellers, so Colt backed out of the deal and the remaining guns were stamped "CZ". Sort of a peculiar-looking pistol. I've only shot it once, and it was O.K., but not outstanding. But....I've got one!

A PSA 20" AR-10 platform rifle in 7.62x51mm.
Still enjoy the milsurp's that I sold hundreds of back when I was an FFL. Gave less for the AR type rifle than what most of the ol' millies are bringing today.

Latest by was a estate lot. 3 22 BA rifles, 3 single shot 410s and one 22 mag rifle. Nothing outstanding the price was right so I bought them for dealing material. The good guns that I wanted had crazy prices on them.

Well the last one in my possession is a Remington 3200. Still waiting on my CPA 45/70.

Sar b6p, bought it because the one I purchased several months before was extremely accurate. Sadly the last one, not so much.

Ive had an eye on an RIA 9mm for a long while now. How do you like it?
-
Picked up a H&R handi in 30/30 yesterday. Going to try and make a cast boolit shooter out of it.
-
Im very happy with it. I been wanting a 9mm full size 1911 for awhile too and an RIA with the bill board logo. My LGS got one in. It made my day. It runs great and is very accurate. The factory mag i had to replace. The spring was weak. The follower wouldn't activate the slide stop. New mags took care of that. The former owner also had a shock buffer in it. I removed it.

Two in the same deal. A Haenel/Raasch sporter on the '88 rifle in 9 X 57. Geez...what a sweety and, a Wilhelm Brenneke in his 7 X 64 Brenneke. Another sweety even if it does have a 28 inch barrel. It's so well balanced you don't notice all that barrel. Both have exceptional stocks and precious little wear for a rifle from before 1912 and the other, the Brenneke, proofed in July of 1928. Preliminary load work up looks good!
