Had a chance to get a 788 30-30 and waited to long and it sold by the time I decided to get it . The 325 was the only 30-30 bolt gun I have seen around me since got it the day I saw it .

That Ruger is a good shooter but I believe you're right, that 700 seems to be one too. It seems to like BLC-2 and H4895 so far. I like the synthetic stock and blacked out barrel, nothing to get marred up in the woods. I think I will have to get it a retirement present though, I'm thinking of a Combat Commander. :)

A churchill 6.5x55 bolt action, made in London.
Celebrated the 4th of July with a Weatherby Vanguard in 243, and it was on clearance for 349 OTD. Can’t wait to set it up, develop an all purpose load, and go chase coyotes until pronghorn season.
Purchased a Ruger GP 100 4.2" barrel, blued, circa 2001 from the LGS yesterday. Previous owner had put some nice Tritium sights on it. Went out today and put about 50 rounds of both 38 special and 357 through it. Found my new woods walking gun!
Just bought a TC Seneca in .36 calibre for my wife ... and I'm waiting for the arrival of a Remington Hepburn I recently bought ... and I've also just put in an offer on another classic vintage single shot rifle which I REALLY hope they accept! I've really been rather naughty lately ...

A Winchester 71 348 fallowed me home this morning, finding brass has been somewhat difficult?
A Marlin Glenfield 36G 30-30 came home to me. My nephew conned me out of it previously. It's a shooter!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...01be3930db.jpg

CAI SXS 20 ga. Weighs a lot because OF of barrels is same as 12 ga.
Although I did not buy it, I was gifted a type 99 Jap Arisaka yesterday! It was a trophy brought home from the War and it still has the Mum intact on it.
Well, in the end I did buy the other rifle I was looking at. It's a Model 1882 Maynard single shot in a period wooden case with a few accessories in .32-35 Stevens / Maynard. Very good condition with an excellent bore. Now comes the fun of trying to form some brass to shoot in it ...
I need to quit buying guns ... well ... for a little while at least ...

I'll give you my wallet to hold for me, but I'll take out the cash and credit cards first or I might miss out on buying another REALLY good gun!
A smith & Wesson model 28-2 4 inch and another Star BM 9mm. A person needs to get those Stars while they are cheap.
The last gun was a S&W 686 with a 6" barrel
I RESISTED the urge to buy another Marlin “short” cowboy 45 Colt last weekend...
