Gave hurricane casting another go between bouts of rain, half a jar of 38 spec wadcutter ready for loading. I had planned on using hitek but didn't notice all my solvent had evaporated! Guess I'll grab some new bottles when I can and use bll for now

Tumbled and sized a hundred and fifty or so 45/70 brass. Now I'm trying out my new to me lyman universal trimmer. I really like it compared to the Hornady I have.
I do like my Lee trimmers too but I think the Lyman will work out quicker.
Then I can tumble the lube off of them tonight and start the rest of the brass prep before loading.
Love me some 45/70
Decapped and resized 1,600 of the 2,100 pieces of 30 Carbine I recently got off of here.
Man, that roller ergonomic handled for the LNL AP is the cat's meow! Only took me a little over and hour to do those 1,600.
Cast 500 9mm Magma 124 bb and 550 225-61 Elvis .223. Loaded 800 9mm. Hi-Tek coated 800 already cast 9mm and 600 already cast .223. Not a bad day.
Not a dadburn thing, worked late.
Heat cycled this new .452-200-HP mould 4 times @ 400*F...letting it cool and will lube it up and assemble for tomorrows first run.
Many thanks to Gtrubicon for buying this for me when he purchased his. For an almost old fart...he's a pretty good fella!

A friend brought over a bunch of stuff to sell for him. Including Dillon Square Deal set up for 9mm and still containing Titegroup powder & primers. I have bullets so I will load 9mms till it's empty!

Looks like Liz Taylor's lipstick! How do you get the bottoms coated?
I didn't do anything today, but I cast some RCBS 30-150-SP yesterday that look ferocious:

They were born with teeth! These were the best yet with this very well used mold.
Pulled down some 30-06 I've had loaded up for match use for the components (I don't shoot the caliber anymore so I plan to reuse the projos, powder, primers will be reused in my AR10 in 7.62x51) and then deprimed fifty 7.62x51 cases from Sunday's trip to the range.
Tonight, I cut down a cheap Century Arms 50 caliber inline muzzle loader for the barrel to be sleeved into a 12gauge shotgun barrel sometime this winter after which I will then recut the barrel's chamber for 50-70 Govt. to make a black powder cartridge stalking rifle.
Not in the loading room, but yesterday I sorted a 5 gallon bucket of stick-on weights. Found 1 valve stem and 13 1/4oz non lead weights. About to go sort another bucket. Also put about a quart of range brass in some soapy water to soak.
Note, there weights were purchased from another caster, not at a tire store. The yield is holding up pretty good around here still, but not that good! All in all, really happy so far.
I went in and opened the ammo cabinet, and looked for something that needed to be reloaded. Plenty of brass, plenty of processed/primed brass, but also plenty of reloads waiting to be fired! Actually running out of room for reloads (been on crutches and can't drive for 2 1/2 months and ammo backing up)...
Woe is me...
I opened my components cabinet and saw that I overloaded a shelf. One side is broken. A piece of 2x4 and some screws should fix it, but that will have to come later.
I looked around and re-acclimated myself, as I haven't been in there in a while. The last thing I remember doing was prepping some brass that I fired a few weeks ago. I did find the boolits that I had cast and had run through the lubrisizer. I had just enough to load what few cases I had. Twenty were .38 Special cases I loaded with Bullseye and the Lee 158 gr. RF that I bought a few months ago. They loaded perfectly. Then I had ten .357 that I loaded with the same boolit and a tad stouter load of Bullseye. I hope I get to go to the range again before I have to go back to Newnan..... I like my Model 19-4 Smith.
Sized some 32 and 38WCF boolits after I sized some 38-55 boolits for a friend. Was going to load a few tonight but a day like today called for a cocktail so the loading room is OFF LIMITS.
Sorted another bucket of weights today. The yield is still holding up good.
