Beautiful works of boolit art! Multiple seconds for having a table at gun show. Bet they would sell well.
I think it would be neat to see some of these designs machined out of steel. Then placed in a cartridge shaped handle and sold as a tool set!
Would be a very unique tool set for firearm enthusiasts.
Ok, how about a boolit that whistles going down range?
Can't believe this thread is 21 pages long now. Who knew...
i would love to load them without a charge and keep them as art? take one of each put them in a package and sell them maybe for charity?
i would like to place an order for a chess set!!! old thread but please start selling, those are super cool!!
Very COOL!

I wonder where OLDPARA went to, haven't heard from him in ages.
Hope he is doing well, I do miss his contributions to the site.

I wonder that every day... I have a few of his boolits on my desk and they remind me. Come back, Dana!

He's around! He actually made the mold I talked with him about above, and it is a thing of beauty. He's a very cool guy, and every bit as talented as you would think.
The bullets won't turn screws, so we'll have to see if they can drive tacks.
Guys at the range----I'm shooting some .454, 350 grain bullets,, what are you shooting? I'm shooting Phillips head FMJ's and dog house hollow points
How would you get the mould apart?

[QUOTE=SlippShodd;2045338]Shamelessly stoled from Wikipedia, along with the accompanying photo of his head. :P
"Henry F. Phillips (1890–1958) was a U.S. businessman from Portland, Oregon. The Phillips-head ("crosshead") screw and screwdriver are named after him.[1]"

Now this would make a slick looking wadcutter. I wonder which would win in a gunfight--the phillips head bullet or wadcutter?!
:bigsmyl2:Hi oldpara.First I want to thank you for your service.God bless you and yours. This has been a most enjoyable thread.I think that the only other web site that I go to that has this type of talent is "The jalopy journal".Great bunch of gearheads and fabricators.Your skills are just outstanding.Thank you for sharing them with us.
As for the "whistling bullets",the buffalo hunters used them in their Sharps Big 50`s to give the Indians a scare. From what I read, they would bore a hole appx 45 degrees to the center of the slug and let`er rip. From what I read, they would scream like a Banshee in heat,
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.
