So that takes a .490" ball? It's kinda cool, but seems like a marginal improvement over the standard .457" ball. 0.033" larger and 33 extra grains of bullet. It looks to me like that could dang near be bored out to 52 caliber for a .530" ball.

Sir, would you please provide more about boolit (who made the mold), powder load and primer. Any link will help. I am new to muzzle loaders (unfired ROA), every bit will help, and do not want to bother with round balls.

You are going to want to try some round balls. It was made for them.
