Well I picked up the covenant 6-24 ffp on blackfriday. Will have to exchange it already. It's a little fuzzy at 24x and the eye box is small as expected from the price tag but the real issue is the parallax witness marks. It goes from 50-1000 yards but focuses to infinity between the 100 and 200 yard marks. Making the marks useless. Going to give it another try or switch to the vortex 4-16 if the second is a bust. Sorry no info on who makes it ... Other than the made in China sticker.
To get a GOOD 6-24X scope if you start at $500 (for a lightly used Leupold) you will not be disappointed. Buy a cheap one and you'll have a decent 6 to 10X scope.
In the real world of hunting and most paper punching, the use for 24X is almost nil.
If you must have it, plan to pay a lot more than Chinese stuff.
For the fellow who bought the Chinese junk, here's a great scope:

Who ever it is that makes them, they can keep them. I got one from some points on my card. I'm on the 3rd replacement and it's sitting on a .308 rem 700
