We were talking about buying and using buckshot as Round balls, instead of buying actual muzzleloader Round balls, (1 single piece of buckshot is ROUND in case you didn't know that?) i dont shoot round balls BUT everyone ive seen that does uses patches under them, Now if you look closely at what i said, on Lees Website it says their 000 Buckshot mold produces ROUND BALLS .360 in diameter, my rifle in question here is a 36 Caliber (that is .360 in case you didnt know?) now if i were to try and put a .360 Roundball with a .015 patch Down a .36 Bore it would be a bit tight dont ya think? But NEVER once did i refer a Thompson Center Maxi ball to a piece of Buckshot.
