I was able to make it to the range today. It was stupid windy.
These were not accurate. I had large vertical stringing. Even in the wind the horizontal was not bad. Velocity seemed really low. I can't find all the pieces to my chronograph.
Load was
Bullet 270gr
AA1680 8.2gr
OAL 2.11
I checked the twist in the barrel and got 1/7.5 I guessing it is really 1/7.
I'm hoping the bullet yawing was from the velocity being really low.
I was able to recover 2 bullets from the burm. It interesting that there is rifling all the way to the nose. It looks like the bore ridding part bumped up like a black powder load. Primers were very rounded. No signs of pressure.
The bore had no leading
I found some load data. Looks like I should be at 10.8gr
