This is funny- after reading a similar thread recently- I've started saving them(after 44 yrs of tossing them). I may test them in 12 ga"less lethal" reloads.
Best, Thomas.

Best, Thomas.
I just dump them into a scrap brass bucket and sell them to a scrap yard about once a year or when the bucket gets full.
I have jars full of them.

Turned mine in and they are worth a lot more than 50 cents.
I have been trashing mine. Looks like i need to start saving them.
it wasn't too long ago scrap brass was well over 2$ a lb.
I save mine against the day when I might need to figure out how to refil and reuse them. Recipes and chemicals are stashed. Still as long as I can buy for reasonable I will just save the used ones.

Here you go. Just reload them.
Just started saving them a few years ago. May have enough to trade in by the time scrap metal prices recover.
I had never thought to save them. When I got into casting a friend provided me with a bunch of indoor range scrap. I still have all of the jackets that I skimmed off. Maybe I need to visit the scrap yard.
There you go just the thing i keep mine for, they are deadly coming out of a short(24 inch) 62 caliber smooth bore canoe gun.
Scrap yard for money to buy powder & primers.
