Lubed and started breaking in a new NOE 311414 mold for 300AAC. Using 6:1 COWW-Monotype alloy, test casts weigh 150.6 grains. Tonight I'll properly smoke the cavities and try to cast up a sample batch for loading.

I loaded up some .45 colt and .40 s&w earlier. Both PC cast and xtp and GDHP. Hopefully make a trip to the range next week to test the loads and decide on a good load for each combo. Tomorrow I need to load up some .380's
Cast up 856 124 grain round nose for the 9mm pistol. Gotta love that Lee 6 cavity mold! Next step is PC,size, and load!!!
Coated some commercial cast boolits with 45-45-10 because the blue (hard as heck wax) caused them to lead.
They are sized for my 45 but the blue lube failed. Hope this works.

Washed 45acp brass and refilled all the presses with bullets, brass, and primers tubes. Then cleaned all the sizing dies on all my presses I leave set up. Just got the package of led lights I am going to cut up and put on all presses. Things look more like a work area again. Blood pressure has dropped for now anyway. I am sure soon as I have to deal with another moron it will run sky high and I will be back in my reloading room to relax.
I bought a lot of reloading gear today so I placed all the boxes in the reloading area. Paid $300 for it all and it's a soup to nuts lot. Powder and primers alone are worth $220. I've seen some of the manuals sell for close to $50. And there is a couple hundred dollars worth of brass. Now it's time to decide what I'm keeping and what will be sold off.
Took a nap in the rocking chair. :-)
Loaded 300 9mm and 400 12 gauge :)
Finished reloading the 9mm boolits i have been working on. 358125RF over Unique. About 350 rounds on Loadmaster this week. That tops off my supply.
Sorted a 3 gal bucket of WW, and put up 48 lbs of alloy.
The little darling went shooting with me yesterday afternoon , so I had a little brass to clean up and load . She said if she didn't know how much I enjoy loading ammo she would feel bad . She's right , and she has never looked better , than when the brass is flying and she is smiling . It's took me 30 years to get her out shooting ,she loads her own mags as well .
Primed 1213 223 mixed military cases with Winchester small rifle primers.
Made up 50 lbs. of 50/50 + 1.4% Sn in muffin pan pucks since I'm still casting a spring supply of pistol. Cast some more 38 SWC now at 950 done, which is why I had to make some more alloy. Sorted some 38 brass, running some through the vibrator right now and going out to finish casting another 150 - 200 more of those 38's and I'll call that good for now.
Can't wait to finish casting and set up toaster oven so I can start trying out the PC purchased from smoke in S&S. Looking forward to some purty bullets.
Ah well, worth a shot!

I am playing with .45acp shotshells these days , have too many rabbits around and don't want to use the 12ga to do it , plus it's fun. Used .40Super sizing die to form the 45 Mag cases down.
Applied gas checks, sized to .309 and retumble lubed 50 NOE 311414 boolits for testing in 300AAC. Gas check is .015 copper made from Pat Marlins Check Maker. Lube is Recluse 45/45/10. Sizer is Lee push through.
I re melted all my lead and used a new I got mold I got to consolidate everything into a smaller package so it easier to store. I also did this to clean everything again because I didn't do a good enough job when I first started out and I've been having a lot of dirt mess up my pouring pot.
The. I cleaned all my die sets and lubed them all, I attempted to make some dummy rounds to check seating depth and crimp for a new mold I just got which I cast about 300 bullets in while I was re melting my ingots. I pulled some bullets and found some swaging happening and that's when I threw in the towel for the day and started researching how to cure my swaging issues.
