Accurate #45-250DC
There can be if desired
Some lyman 45 acp molds drop a .454 boolit. I am lucky to have have a 452460 that drops at .454. I can pan lube or resize.
Crimping over the ogive has always worked for me. With a kiss from a Taper Crimp die for use in Lever Action rifles. Fired many thousands of rounds loaded just that way in a 1894CB 24" and 1866 clone 19" with nary a problem. All bullets are sized .454
Accurate makes Great molds. I have a great one in their #45-200J and it Does have a crimp groove.

The Lyman 454190, is actually a plain base rnfp with two grease grooves.
Unless you absolutely need the .454 diameter, the LEE 255 grain rfn would be a very good compromise, and a lot more affordable. I use the six cavity and it casts great boolits. I use them in the 45 Colt cartridge, and sometimes l load them in the 45 acp cartridge.
