Navy Lt. Cmdr. Joseph Langdell (Retired) was a very respected man in Yuba City. We are still waiting to hear when his local memorial service will be set. Mr. Langdell was always very prominent in our local parades. He will be missed
My daughter was is a volunteer coordinator working for the army now but was stationed in Hawaii working with the navy, got to ride on the ships coming to Hawaii from Guam. She always liked the return to port.
She now works at Ft McHenry/Arlington over seeing all the volunteer's. How cool is that.

Thanks to Commander Langdell for his service to this Country. It is impossible to imagine what he had to see and live with during the attack and the days, months and years that followed.
