I contacted Lee Precision to ask if they had plans to release an 18-cavity mold for #1 buckshot. Got a reply from them today that yes they are, should become available in 6 weeks, product #92068.

Good news! Now if they would just make some in #3 for us 20 gauge shooters.
That would be cool. I think I've got a .319", and I've got a 2 buck mold from Sharpshooter. I don't think I have a .300" buckshot mold.

I have a slingshot ammo mold that is pretty close to #3 for 20 ga. About halfway between #3 and #4.
I have not patterned it yet, last couple summers have been hot and hectic.
WTH!!!!”
I load 9, seldom 12, I’m recoil sensitive, in a 12 ga. How in the Sam Hill does one fit 10 in a 20 ga hull?
There's a lot of good to be had using the Lee .310 6 cavity mold. And you don't have to clip anything
I didn’t know they had a 6-cav .31” mold!
I’ll have to check it out!
I’ve been using a .31” 2-cav for about 30yrs!
It loads GREAT 20ga loads!
I use a 1oz wad, 17gr of LongShot, cheap hulls (win or fed)
I’ve killed deer and pigs with them from my CZ/Turkish made S/S.
I think Track of the Wolf has them, so does MP Molds if you want 8 cavity
What kind of patterns were you going for with your "Slingshot." I figure it should do about 6" at 10 yards which would be a good load for the house as you wouldn't have to worry about over penetration or shooting thru walls or stuff like that.
I use 3/8" and 1/2" Ball Bearings in mine.

TOTW exclusive. I’ll wait and see if Lee does make a .31” gang mold.
$61.95 is a tad steep. No more than I cast/load…
The Lee #1 Buckshot mold is now for sale on their website.
Give it a few days, it should be at Titan Reloading for way cheaper soon.
