pine city is the weekend before
Mankato Gun & Knife Show is also on Mar 3rd-4th
Willmar Gun Show is April 14-15, 2018 at the Willmar Civic Center.
If these are Crocodile Productions shows they suck...
Gonna try to make the Mankato one. Need to see if I can finagle a hotel/motel room though. It is a 75-80 mile one way trip. & I don't like to drive after a long day.
Ft. Lauderdale just pressured an organizer to cancel an upcoming one here. Hollywood sent code officers out to hassle the organizers of one last weekend.
Back in '91 SWMBO and I were in MPLS for 5 months. We took our daughter there for medical treatments. Wife and I stayed with daughter around the clock at the hospital, working one day on, then one day off, changing out this role at lunch time. I used my "off time" to scour local gun shops, pawn shops and gun shows. I found many items at the shows that are impossible to find in TN. One example was magazines for the H&R Leatherneck .22 rifle a friend owns. The local shows, small and personal, were a glorious relief from the t-shirt (etc.) laden shows in TN. I believe if I lived in MN I would go bankrupt quickly from finding all the materials in circulation there.
Does Shotgun Red ever show up?
It's a little ways off, but the Hutchinson Elks Gun Show is a good one. $4.00 Admission and Free Parking.

I'm going to try and goto the pine city show tomorrow on Sunday. It's snowing like crazy now. Couldn't go today and we're supposed to get quite a bit of snow tonight. It's their 35th annual show.
It's at a technical school and they have a gun smithing course too.
I made it to the show in Pine City on Sunday after pulling out the driveway from snow. The crowds there were small and I guess on Saturday afternoon they started leaving too because of a snowstorm. There there were a few Marlin 375 Winchester's there couple good deals on Marlin 44 Magnum lever actions and quite a bit of reloading supplies.
It sounds like the Tampa Florida gun show had quite the turnout this weekend.

Michigan Novi show and one in Taylor last weekend I heard both were well attended, no panic buying good amount of stuff. Never seems to be much reloading stuff in the ones I go to. I do sort of get the feeling that some who might have jumped into the shows when prices and the buying frenzy were heated up might be fading out. Seems like maybe the last couple I could make there were more straight up gun sellers having more tables. Like maybe they could get more table space for rifle displays because there were not as many small vendors with a stack of .22 rim fire, some dirty brass, and over priced powder and primers. Even the regular reloading equipment / supply sellers might have slightly reduced their space and product.
But that is a totally unscientific observation. I'm just glad no one is freaking out.
I went to a show in Sioux Falls a few weeks ago and I would have to agree with RogerDat. Seems to be headed back in the right direction. As a side note......I did get a nice pair of Merino wool blend socks.....Just sayin'!
