The UMCC pistol cartridges box, and the Wards cleanfire box get my attention.
some move some dont most are old enough watch for hang fires
Man those are neat. Thanks for sharing. How old is that UMC box that oldschool mentions?
I've looked for dates on most of the boxes, and none of them have any.
I'm guessing they didn't think it was important back then.
Probably not important now, because I don't recall seeing dates on new ammo.
So many different companies made .22 ammo back in the "good old days".
Some of those make my Montgomery Wards labeled box look new.
I have a few old boxes too, some full or partially full (not pristine). A relevant question: is there any point in keeping the original ammo with them, or just shooting it up and keeping the boxes? They're nice old boxes but nothing pristine.
Personally I'd keep the ammo and occasionally shoot a few just for the enjoyment. I wouldn't burn it through a semi auto just cause.
I recognize all of them, except the "Seeker".
Where is that from ? Who made it ?
GONRA's sez those are all COLLECTOR ITEMS.
