So i have concluded my 30 round test with the Mosin to see if i was going to get any leading, and much to my surprise i did not get any leading in the barrel,
The load i was using for my test was 13 grains of 700X, with a .319 sized Lyman 320366 bullet, the accuracy with this bullet/powder combo is not great
i am looking for a suggestion for a load to try out with this rifle, and a better bullet mold to try, the bullet mold i have now bumps into the rifling at bolt closing,
NOE clones the Lyman 311299 / 314299 / 316299 under the name of 311-206, 314-210, and 316-213.
You'll want to consider the blueprints for each, looking at the band and nose diameters based on your barrel and chamber, but this is a very popular "accuracy without effort" design for the broader WWI / WWII battle rifle family of rounds.
Sadly the NOE .316 mold dose not drop large enough to be sized to .319, the closest NOE mold I can find that would drop big enough is the NOE 321-188 https://noebulletmolds.com/site/shop...gc-1pb-321323/
