Attachment 212725George just left me a copy of po ackleys handbook for shooters and reloaders. Vol 2. Other wise known as the ackley wildcatter book. I need to send out a great big thank you. I opened it as soon as a got home and haven't had a good idea yet. I now have the overwhelming urge to build rifles around cartridges for no other reason than to have a rifle that shoots that cartridge just to be able to form and load it.

I mean who doesn't need a 22 centerfire based on a 44 mag case or a 30/224 weatherby or a 33 poachers pet based on 9.3x74 case. That George is a sly devil, I'm hooked. I'm off to start grinding reamers, thanks again.

I'm expecting George today? Maybe. He seems to be a little tricky on delivery dates, though.

My SWMBO is a spell casting witch, just hope that the spell she put on all of my locks works. If not then George must have some warlock in him.

Around here, even George would have to work to find much. I stopped casting and handloading two years ago, in favor of house repairs and moving a young lady from Maine to California. Bad choice, btw. So, everything is packed, and scattered. I doubt even George could find anything, without a two day search. LOL In the end, that might be the only way to stop George?

George is a pretty swell guy. Somehow he knows just how to make one's day. Believe it or not George was the only person who gave me a Christmas present this year. Hats off. :drinks:
