There is a hand engraved 26 on each half appear to be 45 cal? I'm think a BP conocal bullet of some type.

Have you cast any from it? It does look like the boolits are meant for a .44 cal Cap & Ball revolver, if so the dimensions should be somewhere around .451-.457".
The sprue plate looks like it was modeled after the Lyman Armory molds.

Cast some then weigh and measure them,,,
Base miked at .442 on the mold? I was expecting .452-.454.
The bases are smaller to fit into the cylinder easily. The "ring" round the middle should be large enough to shave when seated in a 44 revolver cylinder. a lot of the black powder revolvers in 44 have cylinder holes smaller than .450.
I agree completely, it looks like a C&B mold.
