You don't mention what type of shooting you'll be doing with ? A lower speed plinker load probably work fine in rifles , same with non magnum levels in handguns, I've taken a simple mix of Bees wax and vasoline 50/50 to 1800 fps in 30 cal rifles

You maybe getting that finning on the bottom of the 150 bullet because it's being sized down a lot more than you think , what size is it dropping out of the mould? And what are you sizing it down to ? Just because it's a .358 mould don't mean it's...

The only two guns I truely regret parting with were a early Colt LW commander and a mid 70's Rem bdl varmint 222 , that triple Duce was the most accurate rifle I've ever owned and what made me be ho hum about any rifle I've owned since.

Most of the Lee moulds are a crap shoot on the dia some come in right at .300 some are plus minus a thou or two . You can play with your alloy and and maybe try to shrink or grow as needed or has been said size just the nose (bore rider) portion

If you have enough elevation on your rear sight for 200 yds try 5-6 grs of Bullseye . It's what I shot most in my elderly 32 win spl but it has a ladder type rear sight on it so elevation isn't an issue . That load should be in the 1000-1200 fps...

I'll second the rcbs 165 bullet and also the Lee 155 . Yeah you may need to seat them a little deeper depending on the nose dia . Most k31 barrels the actual bore dia is not .300 more like .297-299. But if your rifle has been shot a good bit the...
