The 7.62 x 55 Swiss is very close to a 30/284. Lots of shooter just neck the .284 Win up to 30 Cal and use it in the K31's. The rebated rim still works so case volume is much closer to the 35 Whelen than it is to the 358 Win. ...

It's usage, barrel and cartridge specific. 22 rimfire competitors never or almost never clean. The NRA highpower, Palma and long range shooters clean at the end of the day believing that peak accuracy drops off starting at 80 or 100 rounds. Not...

A few vets fought in WWII, Korean and Vietnam. I don't know any that fought in all 3. I have known and spoken with several that fought with the M1 in Korea and the M-14 in Vietnam. Of the ones that used both in combat to a man they preferred...

It's not hate it's just understanding that the enBloc system had limitations. History has shown it was inferior to the box magazine system. If it was a superior system all modern military small arms would be using it. EnBlocs are now mostly just...

Despite contemporary shipbuilding technology, it is possible that God instructed Noah on how to construct a large rectangular cube that would float. Do you discount the miraculous?

I love the M1 Garand. That being said I am in the camp that maintains the EnBlock clip is a elegant solution to a problem that didn't exist. It's not like BAR mags hadn't been around since 1918. This was a cost based decision.

The issue may be terminology. The measurement that is of most importance to bullet casters is the diameter of the grooves in the barrel. Then land diameter is the bore diameter. http://mcgowenbarrel.com/bore-groove/ Example is a standard...

You described a Teacher, not an Evangelist. An evangelist delivers the simple Gospel message and then new Christians are taught the details by a Pastor/Teacher.

For even number lands and groove a standard mic works. For odd numbers you need a v-mic of a specific angle. S&W uses a 5 groove so I use a cheap 108 degree $94.00 SHARS 0.2-1" 108 Degree 5 Flutes V-Anvil Micrometer Graduation 0.001 Ebay sells...

That is an impressive group. Two questions. How repeatable is it and have you tried it past 200 yards? Past 200 yards traditional or Creedmoor type bullets have performed far better than spitzers for me. Under 200 I fully admit I have not...

Tooling is not the issue. Unsupported spitzer noses tend to slump and accuracy is the main issue. That being said I have never worked with anything other than spitzer 45 Cal. bullets I tried for 600 and 1,000 yard competition. Never got them to...
