The K31 and the Kimber are sold. Thanks very much. The other 2 rifles are still for sale and I'm open to reasonable offers.

I remember eating a cockroach once; not deliberately but by accident. Back when I was in my early twenties. I couldn't afford to pay rent on anything other than a roach infested old house in the poor part of town. One would think I'd be used to...

Something Is Definately Wrong. Both of my Umarex Octane air rifles have been sitting unfired for a couple of months. I've mainly been shooting my Gauntlet PCP. When I wiped the dust off of my 1st-gen Octane and shot it over the chronograph it...

Umarex Octane Home-Made Piston Seals. I cast up the last of my prototype Piston Seals this morning and it looks like they are going to work out well. I still have to test them but I can see no reason why they wouldn't work. Pictured in the...

I printed up one last Piston Seal mold just to try to get a finished Seal-Geometry that fell between the shape of the factory Piston Seal and the aftermarket Piston Seal I bought from the Australian vendor I was dealing with a while back. One of...

Initially I thought about just milling a Piston Seal mold out of aluminum. I'm confident I could have done it on my hobby mill but not everyone has a hobby mill or a mill of any kind. Some of the guys in our Umarex Octane air rifle group do...

It took me several tries to figure out the right mixing procedure for this Urethane Casting Resin. I'm still not getting perfect results but I'm now getting what I think are good useable Piston Seals. At first I tied casting some Seals with just...

My mixing ingredients showed up for casting the Piston Seals out of my 3D printed mold. I didn't have the right kind of mixing cups but I couldn't wait so I mixed some up in a shot glass. Remember I mentioned before that it took my silicone...

I've never used the Puff-lon method but I did fire lap an old Lee Enfield barrel a long while back. It was a really bad bore so I wasn't worried about ruining it. At the time I was reading about casting some Hot-Melt-Glue bullets for...

Biography:
I joined as a semi-newbie. Now I've been here long enough to consider myself knowledgeable about bullet casting.

With the help of some of the more experienced bullet casters on this site, I've developed some tools and bullets for my own personal use. Among them are a Soft-Pointing tool, Boat-Tailed Gas Checks and dies, Air Gun Pellet Swager, Match-Grade Air gun Trigger, K31 scope mounts and a few other things I've posted about.

The learning never ends and the ideas keep coming. Unfortunately for me, there isn't enough time in the day to tackle them all.

I'm a self-employed auto upholster by trade. Also an automotive after-market products installer
