Those are some elegant looking air rifles. I'm sure they shoot as good as they look. HollowPoint

Is the accuracy that you are referring to just out of one of your air rifles or across the board with any or all of your other air guns? I'm asking because I had plans of buying one of the NOE .22 pellet molds once they come out with the one I've...

Here are a few pics of my two very dusty air rifles wearing the 3D printed Picatinny/Weaver rail sections I recently printed out. Everything fit exactly as I'd hoped they would. The bipod legs themselves are woefully lacking in tight tolerances...

At the speed technology is advancing, by the time I get this project done I'm sure there will be one or more inexpensive high-tech gadgets on the market that will make this kind of stuff look like child's play. For now though, I'll just muddle...

The one to one ratio print outs I made came out spot on in terms of size. I was also able to transfer the patterns to my cardboard stock and make the needed folds. So far so good. The one thing I didn't take into account was the vertical...

It took me a while but I finally figured out how to print out 1:1 scale paper ink prints of the Sheet Metal upper section of my Lee Enfield 15 round extended magazine. I'm embarrassed to tell you how many times I screwed that up trying to print...

I'm no expert by any means. I just know that I can print one of up a whole lot faster than I can machine one. HollowPoint

I'm pretty sure I could too if given enough trial and error time, but what might give me fits would be the downward angle between the tang that juts out on the left side just underneath the angle below the upper picatinny section. It's not really...

Here are the computer renderings of the newly designed Picatinny/Weaver rail segments made to fit the 1st-Generation Umarex Octane air rifle. I'll be using mine to mount a set of cheap bipod legs but they can also be used to mount laser lights,...

I thought I'd try making up a set of these picatinny sections for my 1st-Generation Umarex Octane as well. They won't fit quite as aesthetically pleasing as these Octane Elite replacement screw covers but they'll serve the same purpose. I...

With cast bullets, I've been lead to believe that when the lead alloy is harder it in some way generally means that the bullets will be lighter than bullets cast of pure or near pure lead. Did you find that the pellets you stated as being older...

If I can't get this metal upper to work for me I'll give the acetone treatment a try. I've come to the conclusion that it wasn't really the texture of the inside wall surface that was causing the friction. It was the thickness of the 3D printed...

Once I get my CAD drawing printed out I plan on first transferring it onto a piece of cardboard and making my bends on it to make sure I'm bending it right and to be able to dry fit it up into my mag-well. I seems that you might be able to make a...

One of our Umarex Octane shooters group members came up with an idea for a simple common sense mod for the Umarex Octane Elite break barrel air rifle. It was one of those simple ideas that make one wonder why we didn't come up with it. The guys'...

I've actually done both of those things. At the time I thought that one or both of those alterations would fix the friction I was getting at the case heads of the loaded cartridges. This was before determining that the thickness of the walls that...

Biography:
I joined as a semi-newbie. Now I've been here long enough to consider myself knowledgeable about bullet casting.

With the help of some of the more experienced bullet casters on this site, I've developed some tools and bullets for my own personal use. Among them are a Soft-Pointing tool, Boat-Tailed Gas Checks and dies, Air Gun Pellet Swager, Match-Grade Air gun Trigger, K31 scope mounts and a few other things I've posted about.

The learning never ends and the ideas keep coming. Unfortunately for me, there isn't enough time in the day to tackle them all.
