Another route you guys may want to check into is most scrap yards are not set up to sell to the public but will do a swap. I have made several trips to the yards with a load of scrap and load what I wanted before going back across the scale with...

Dang. So how much wind does it take to move a 10’x40” flag? We use Uber thin 1 1/2” vinyl streamers. They pick up the slightest breeze. They come in neon colors too. Easy to see.

Well it looks like everyone thinks the steel plate would be a great plan I see if McMaster has it in stock. Country Gent I did not think of the weight on the threads but that is a good point if mine fail that will be the next style of threads I...

So how was that on your neck and back Larry shooting from the prone position uphill like that? I've tried to do it and it kills me. Can I also ask how big your target is and how tall is that wind flag? Thanks a lot. Waco

Well I swapped out my chucks today and the pipe trick worked like a charm thanks for that tip. I took the day off and spent it in the shop turning out parts for my leveling jacks. One more piece to turn and then to drill the holes in the jacks so I...

Back in the mid 90's the Contender bug bit me. I began with a 22 Hornet 14" barrel. After a few reloads, I found the Hornet brass (in my case anyway) seemed to have a short case life. I of course added a Super 14" in .22 LR and began the search for...

I'm not real sure how good of a hunting alloy it would be, but I've just started to use a 90pb/6sb/4sn alloy water dropped for some higher speed .308 stuff. It ends up after a month being around 18-20bhn. So far it handles up to 2500fps.

Call me devious, but there have been times I enjoy packing in a pistol or two and playing the dummy. No intention of parting with them what so ever. A mint in the box S&W Model 27-2, 5" barrel with box & papers, or my S&W Model 66-4 3" in as new...

When I wind up going over to the dark side, it will be kicking and screaming. I'm not concerned about operating one, I've been using computers 20 years now. I truly don't have a need or want for a smart phone at this time in life at age 64. Nothing...

I could do that someday. My mold is a plain base. I shoot it in my Rem 788 .308 with 10.5gr of Redot for 1325fps with very nice 100 yard accuracy.

My first 'good' revolver was a Dan Wesson M15 in .357 back about 1978. A great gun and the single best 6 shot group I have ever fired, was fired from it. I haven't owned a Dan Wesson in decades now, but sure wouldn't hesitate to pick up another...
