CastingFool replied to a thread Predator calls in Our Town
The only calls I have made are box calls for turkey. Called in 6 or 7 turkeys through the years. I gave one to a friend who was interested in starting to turkey hunt, and he called one in, on his first year.

I buy organic french roast coffee in two pound bags. Been known to have 4 bags in reserve. I'm the only coffee drinker in the house.

Looks like a very nice job. I would like to try making my own forge, but right now, it's just a pipe dream. Too many other things have to be taken care of first.

I have two trimmers, both mounted on wood blocks that are put in a vise when needed. My main press is mounted on a wooden board, that is bolted to the bench. T-nuts on the underside of the bench, so all I have to do is unscrew the bolts from the...

There are places where you can get free buckets, but you will have to clean them out. When I need buckets, I visit the bakery at our local Meijer. Walmart will have them, too, but they charge $1 per bucket, but they will be very clean.

A little off track here, but we use the vacuum sealing device for canning jars. Banana chips, honey, peanut butter, dehydrated onions all get vacuum sealed in jars. The large mouth sealer works fine. Oth, I haven't been able to get a good seal...

I recently bought the universal model (9mm-45acp) off eBay. I don't know if it's a knock off or not, price was very reasonable, like $20 shipped. It seems to work just fine.

CastingFool replied to a thread floor sanding in Our Town
I refinished the hardwood floor in our family room a few years ago. Sanded it down to bare wood, stained it, and applied 3 coats of varathane floor finish. Used an applicator pad, stuff goes on milky, clear when it dries. Wait 24 hrs before...

Just buy an electrical breaker panel box, mount it close to your main breaker panel and run some fake wiring to it to make it look legit, then store your handguns in there. I don't think a burglar would think of looking inside a breaker panel.
