    The Barrel is still good. The threaded part of the breach block is broken off in the threaded part of the barrel. The breach block is the bad part. Man that is unheard of. n.h.schmidt

    You could try gas checks intended for plain bases. They are thin ( usually .004 pop cans to .006 from other scources) They size on to the base. They may allow a increase in speed and less leading. n.h.schmidt
