Got the same problem in my shop. Keep about 3 traps and a jar of peanut butter up there. Every couple of days, I empty the DBs and reset the traps. The neighborhood possum comes by and disposes of the DBs for me. Never ending task./beagle

I asked this question about three months ago. Since then, I have been subbing SR for SP in .38 and .357 loads with no problems. I have steered clear of loading them in 9mm loads due to the small case capacity. So far, it's worked all right for...

It looks like you have a couple burrs on the edge of the sprue plate, a cotton ball will find them, then just touch the edge with some 400 paper to remove and lube. I use Amsoil 100 synthetic 2 stroke oil on locator pins and sprue screw and plate....

Lloyd I've got one on 22/250 S1 3-9x40, not junk by any stretch but equal to other $150 scopes, think Weaver classic V's and I have 3-4 of those. I can not give any feed back on recoil other than 22-250 level recoil. 30 reviews 4.7*...

There are three chamberings that should last for eternity. They are the .243, the .308, and the .358 Win. Why? They are all based on the same brass, all are easy to reform to the desired design, and with the three, you can hunt the world.

Probably not needed, you are correct. A couple years ago, I did a restock job on an original. I had a tough time getting the cheek piece inlay out. I got it heated enough to pop out, and it appeared to have a pitch and asphaltum adhesive holding it...

I epoxy them, and cut small silver nails to tack them in place. When you drill holes for them, slightly countersink, then peen the silver head into the flare, then file or sand smooth. Pretty much invisible. Just use some of your scrap silver, cut...

Devcon has a tendency to change dimensions. Don't be surprised if you have to do some scraping on the bedding when you have had the metal out of the stock for very long.

The storm hit NW Montana hard. 30,000 out of power yesterday. One friend who had been hit by a windstorm late last year got it again, lost two sheds, tree down on his pickup, bending it in half, two other vehicles damaged, tree through the house...

We built a lot of African dangerous game rifles on laminated stocks. Never pillared one of them. Never had a problem. That was with full action bedded, and chamber area of the barrel. I think pillars are best used on old oil soaked stocks that are...

Never have seen one worn our (that's an iron mould). I have seen abuse, neglect and accidents. I've seen the index holes bushed, I've seen sprue plate pivot screws and locking screws in bigger sizes that they came with. I've seen sprue plate stop...

300 grains might be too much of a good thing. I found Lyman's 375296 to be a good shooter in my .38-55 at ranges up to 300 yards. Made a pleasant shooting load in both the .38-55 and also in my .375 H & H./beagle

Messed with one for a while with fair results. I used modified .30/06 brass which is suppose to be a no no and I used .308" bullets. First off, get some 7.7 Jap brass and eliminate the brass hassle. Then, get a bullet that will fit. They make...
