I have an old set of RCBS, run them on my 650 with a MBR stepped funnel (M type). It works great & I am sure I would be served well with Dillon, Hornady or even Lee.

3 or 5gal metal ones are the best.

I like Smokes powders, others work too though. My buddy gave me 1# of powder by the # & it works quite well.

You can get a lot more vel with AA#9 vs AA#5 in the 10mm & at lower pressures. I love AA#9 with 200gr bullets. With 180gr, AA#7 & BLueDot seem a better fit as does Longshot. You can reach 180gr/1300fps loads safely in a stock G20. Just me maybe...

Yeah like you I haven't seen an issue just taking bullets out of the cardboard box I store them in, coat & bake. No I don't wear gloves or do anything special to the bullets.

^^THIS^^ You can tumble with HF red but in most instances it is a PITA. The 1/2# I have left gets mixed in with Smokes other colors just to use it up.

My 270gr LHP (cup point) are cast of 20-1 lead/tin. They do show good expansion running them about 1250fps. IF running a solid, I would expect only deformation but no real expansion unless they hit bone.

I PC range scrap. I water drop out of the oven after 13-15m. Measured a week later, I get a tiny bhn bump, maybe 3bhn. It's all near the surface though, but they shoot great so??

I get 8-10 reloads in most 223 cases before neck splits start to show. As noted, only annealing prevents this.

At 800fps you could run pure lead properly sized & lubed. It may cast better with 1% TIN. Accuracy testing for me with service pistol is 20-25y. For hunting rigs, 50-100y.

It isn't your BHN but your alloy. I believe that Lee calibrates its molds with Lyman #2, so you are running more tin than needed. None of the dozens of molds I have drop the weight indicated. That is likely because I don't shoot Lyman #2.

I used to run 0.357" in all my 9mm but a couple have tight chambers so I went back to 0.356", still no issues with accuracy. Get both sizing dies & try them out.

Since 95% of my shooting is pistol, I don't sweat alloy that much. I blend in the pot, gives me more options. I have diff bullet molds for diff alloy & just add what I feel I need in the pot. Only time I am more precise is making LHP, 20-1 lead/tin...

PC loads exactly like lubed lead. So not having data, go with starting jacketed for the weight you have & work it up. FWIW, not a huge fan of CLays unless they are pure low vel target loads. Clays gets weird when you start pushing the top end...

I use an old terry towel. I only drop the bullets about 3-4" so even a single layer is enough cushion. Haven't burned the towel in like 15y worth of casting?

I have heard far oo many stories of the TL designs not being very accurate in certain calibers. I would go with a conventional lube groove bullet. If you like Lee molds, their 120gr TC is very good. If you want a Rn, the 125gr should work too. For...

I don't think you can really nail down when pressures get out of control or leading happens. Variable like type of rifling, bore smoothness, peak pressure & alloy will play into it. I have found no issues going 0.002" over bore dia with magnum...

I have never had PC flake or scratch off. I always smash test & the coating is solid. I bake @ 400 for 15m, water quench out of the oven, regardless of whos powder I use.

I get a little star on the muzzle of my Springfield 1911/9. No build up in the barrel anywhere though. I use a few diff powders from Smoke.
