I don't much care if it degrades the base of a bullet. Heck for ever we used bullets that had nothing on the base. I don't soak my bullets in gunpowder for two years before I load them. I wonder too if even after the shiny goes away the powder still...

What twist rate are you using as that will make a difference in accuracy compared to a standard mil-spec barrelled rifle.

yup ive got one. Make sure when you buy one that the dot rheostat is at a right angle to the gun when mounted (straight out to the side) . If its angled its a fake. Got to say though the fake has held up so far but its only on a 22. Still makes me...

Old weaver k series scopes are pot luck. First of all THERE OLD! Most of the ones ive had and handled had a yellow look to the lenses and very poor light gathering. None of the old fixed power k series had multi coated lenses. Some even had lost...

Been quite a few years since I shot a deer with an ar15. We were doing crop damage shooting last night in a field that a long shot is 250 yards and typically 100-150 so I figured id take one out. I used a 60 grain partition. Ended up shooting 3...

Lloyd Smale replied to a thread 45 acp lube in Boolit Lube !
like char char said the 45acp isn't a real test of lubes. About anyting will work. personaly id stick to the carnuba. Mostly because its much cleaner then most lubes and wont gum your gun up as fast.

I guess it depends on what Leopold your talking. Im a big Leopold fan but don't care for the old vari x 2 or the first vx1s. they had friction adjustments and only multi coated lenses was the objective lense. The old buris's were fully multicoated....

I voted smoking crack. Why a bolt when a lever gun is plenty accurate at the range a 357 is good for and is a lot more fun! Now if ruger would chamber something like the 44 mag carbine for it or someone else came out with a semi auto id probably...

there a good bang for the buck but hardly an aimpoint. Not near as rugged. But then they don't cost 600 bucks either. I guess its like saying a chevy chevette is a copy of a corvette. Or a tasco is a copy of a night force. Both will get you down...
