    I can say that using Dacron in MY 30-30 has helped keep groups tighter for me. Haven't tried the 2205 but used 2207 quite a bit with a tuft or Dacron. I too Paper patch and althou I'm using up a few tins of 2206 27 grns seems about right for me I...

    I have read a bit about laser rangefinders and understand a bit about them sortta. What would you need to range say a rabbit sized target in an open field to say 2-300 yrds . Not after houses or dear size critters standing next to road signs....

    I use a chopped off coke bottle base with a couple of holes in it out from the centre. Pair of scissors and burnt a couple of holes with hot bit of wire. I place it so the dome faces up. Constant throwing of the handle..... or tapping/...
