    I will try the flame on the base of the pin as well. Anything that beats bashing the mould or plucking its teeth out with pliers is well worth it.

    I like the wax with bits of legs and poop and honey smell to it. I just melt it with water and scrape off the bottom. I believe it still has some bee glue and other goodies in it. Local wax is the best because it won’t melt in your summer heat. ...

    You can put them in a can of water and bring it to the boil. The lube should melt off and float on the top. When cool scrape off the lube and drain. This what I have done when I dropped a couple of hundred in the dirt. Hope it helps
